  Very cute atmosphere and friendly staff. A good selection of cupcakes and I enjoy their ordered cakes, but I frankly don't get all the hype over their cupcakes and I enjoy the ones I bake myself better. A cute date idea could be to stop in here and enjoy a cupcake together.

  sad to share that I had a negative experience at Sugar Mama's. I tried a variety of cupcakes from here before and loved them. However, I called them to try to preorder some cupcakes and was told to just come in and grab them. I was skeptical because I needed a dozen. I didn't push it, I visited this store a couple days later to order cupcakes. Unfortunately, they were all sold out by the time I got there. I drove 30 min to Mt Pearl in poor weather for nothing. I have to grab some last min snacks for my class. I think they need to have better communication between team members especially for a bakery which is popular

  Worst experience ever!!! The staff picked out 6 cupcakes which cost $2.50 individually and told me they all contained cream cheese filling. My husband happily dove into two as soon as we got in our car and there was no cream cheese anywhere. I asked the staff to replace them and they said I was wrong and that it did have cream cheese. I said it did not. They told me I'd have to call the owner and both of the staff started ranting and raving at me and told me I would have to get out. I've never been so embarrassed in my life and we were still stuck with all the cream cheese cupcakes that had no cream cheese. The owner should be ashamed to have such ignorant staff and I'm going to tell everyone about their horrible customer service. Somehow, in their ranting, they suddenly decided they had offered to replace all 6 cupcakes. They did this in front of about 6 other kids around the same age as these kids and they obviously felt some sort of power trip telling an older woman to get out of their store. I just left because I wasn't going to start yelling like they were.
